Lake Side

We love the warm weather! Too bad it has been raining all week here. We need the rain but it's hard to do anything with the kids outside.  Here's another post of what we've been up too.

Last week Saige had been begging us to go back to the lake to throw rocks in. (We weren't able to do so on our hike) So we went. How can you tell a kid that wants to do that, no? It was a little bit windy, Saige's hair was in her face alot, but extremely warm. Especially so for March. We had a blast! Soon it will be time to bust out the swim suits and life jackets. We can hardly wait.

Saige had an awesome time! With screams of laughter.
I though this was a pretty cool photo.
 Papa Bear and Brother Bear
Looking along the shoreline for the perfect rock to throw in.
This a common occurrence with Saige. She gets quite a few rocks in her flip flops.
Saige found some bobbers on the shore line.
She let him play with them by himself too.
So he ate them.
Before we left for the day Saige wanted to go down to the dock and have a look-see. She liked how it swayed with waves. (Little people and big people alike apparently enjoy that feeling.)

Thanks for stopping by! We look forward to seeing you all at Easter!

Trail Side

Last Saturday morning, 3/10/12, we loaded up and headed down towards Hillsdale Lake and had breakfast at a place called K & M's Lake N Dale.

The breakfast was great and with our bellies full we decided to take a hike. We hit the trails running with two strollers, one for each kid. We soon found out that we should have left the strollers in the car. The trail was very rough for four wheels and slow going. Multiple times we had to carry the strollers through "rock gardens." But we had at lot of fun in the exceptionally nice March weather.

We found a Geocache!(That's what the leopard print box is.)

Me with the kids. Good spirits!

Below is a little clip of the kids while we were out.
